E1 – If not separately named, for vehicles with OE-lowered suspension, the dimension of lowering is reduced by the dimension of lowering carried out by the manufacturer. Vehicles with OE-lifted suspension (e.g., Offroad-Package, Crossover) are excluded from the use of our products unless otherwise specified. The specifications in the Components Certificate serve for classification of the item/vehicle. Please check the Components Certificate number of your car and compare it with the certificate (Letter “K” in your vehicle registration or on the type plate). Verify before fitting via the Components Certificate whether the delivered items (see marking) are approved for your vehicle (see area of use). The current Components Certificate is available on www.eibach.de. In case of non-conformance, the items must not be fitted – please refer to your dealer.
Mounting should be performed only by a qualified workshop with skilled personnel and proper tools. If installation deviates from the workshop manual, Eibach instructions are available online. The mounting position can be read from the spring imprint and must be installed accordingly. After installation, wheel alignment is mandatory. All wheel/tyre combinations approved by the wheel type testing institution are permitted unless otherwise specified. OE suspension is required.
Lowering values may vary depending on engine, gearbox/transmission, equipment, and vehicle tolerances. The applicability of our products is limited to standard cars. Any reconstruction (including OE accessory parts), such as accessory brake systems (e.g., ceramic brakes), sport suspensions, or LPG systems, may exclude use of our products.
Measurements refer to new standard vehicles, with the measuring point being the vertical distance from the middle of the wheel hub to the bottom edge of the mud wing. Stated values are nominal and may vary by vehicle.
If your vehicle has serial electronic damper control, this will not function while using the MTS Technik x Eibach suspension kit, and a trouble code will appear. This can be reprogrammed by an official garage or dealership. If available, we recommend using Pro-Tronic to avoid the trouble code.
E18 – Without levelling control.
E20 – Except vehicles with 4WD.
115 – Rear dampers only suitable for torsion-beam suspension.
E170 – For cars with independent suspension at the rear axle.
E318 – Reduced lowering by approx. 15 mm with 19-inch original rims (with and without DCC).
